So Ive been making my rounds thru a couple towns and ive noticed a certain cross over artist (politically correct phrase) that has been making some noise. At first ya boy Splashy didnt know how to take this artist because i heard people mention that she was a model, a singer, a rapper, so i did a lil research and reached out to find out Whut Tha Fcuk is a Snowbunni?, Who is Cali Miles?, & How she makes it Hot N Heavy in the Bedroom?

Cali Miles Talks Hot N Heavy on What The Fcuk

$plash: How did you get started in the music business?
Cali: I started writing songs when i was 9. Then i started studying musical theater at 16 and continued to study at Kent State and was a member of the Gospel Choir. Kent State is where I met Saj Supreme, who i started writing n collaborating with. I got to sing the Hook for Mick Boogie’s Top 7 at 7 on 107.9, and that’s the first time I hard myself on the radio. Just been grinding since.

$plash: Listening to your first single -Whats the definition of a Snowbunni?
Cali:I got the idea for SnowBunni when I was down in South Beach for Memorial Day. Anyone that’s been down there for that, knows it’s a really urban crowd. Walking down Ocean Ave all i heard was ‘Hey SnowBunni, Hey SnowBunni!’ I’ve been into hip hop music and culture my whole life, so I’ve gotten used to being the only white girl at the club, or performing at an underground hip-hop show. So a SnowBunni is just a fly white girl that’s into hip-hop.

$plash: How did u collab with Ray Cash?
Cali: I had actually met Ray when i was featured in his ‘Sex Appeal’ Video. When i got the idea for SnowBunni I wanted an established artist that i knew the hip-hop community respected to be a part of it. Ray came thru the studio and actually picked out a different track than I had originally picked out for the song. Both tracks by Killah Kalam. I was like if this is the track Ray’s feeling, then that’s what it is. I’m a singer and a songwriter but hadn’t really rapped on a track before. I was in the booth doin my verse and Ray was coaching me on my swag, it was crazy. Shout out to Ray Scrilla!

$plash: What do u listen to when its time to set the mood?
Cali: I’m in LOVE with R and B and soul music. That’s pretty much all that’s on my ipod. Baby makin music. Joe is my all time favorite artist. I also love Neyo, and Jill Scott, Sade, Tpain actually had some hot stuff on his first album, and The Dream is dope, too.

$plash: Describe a typical day in the life of Cali Miles?
Cali: I’m not a morning person! So coffee is a must, I’ll work out, run some errands, Q will give me a list of things to do and call me ‘prickface’. If I’m lucky I’ll get to the studio, and get some QT with my man. Then it’s usually hittin’ the clubs promoting the new single and making sure the DJ’s play it.

$plash: Do you watch adult movies?
Cali: Yes. lol no further comment.

$plash: What are some of your goals in the entertainment industry?
Cali: I’m gonna keep making good music, keep improving as an artist and songwriter. I’m gonna work with all the A-listers we see on MTV and BET 2day. Walk all the red carpets
I’m also working on a clothing line for SnowBunni Entertainment. I’ve always acted as well, so make the move into films, too.

$plash: How did u come with the new single Hot N Heavy?
Cali: Hot n heavy-i got the track from johnny Mixxx n loved it immediately. I collabed with Proph The Problem on the concept n lyrics n he produced my vocals. Its different than SnowBunni, a great pop record. We’re getting a lot of great feedback, I’m really excited about it.

$plash: Who are some people that you would like to work with?
Cali: I wanna work with Joe and Neyo soooooo bad!!! Also, Timbaland, Missy Elliot, Pharrell, T-pain and mr Kanye West!

$plash: How do u deal with the haters?
Cali: I don’t deal with the haters at all. I’m drama-free, I don’t even pay them any attention. Love the Jill Scott song ‘Hate on Me’

$plash: How did u get a deal with Urbmob?
Cali: Robert of Urbmob was starting a new division for indie artist and contacted my management it seemed like a perfect fit for me starting my new push for the video and new single

$plash: Are them furry boots really your signature fashion statement?
Cali: The boots with the furrrr-
When i was looking for an outfit to shoot the cover for SnowBunni i googled it and found the furry legwarmers n hood. i’ve actually had girls show up at my shows in that exact outfit! Glowfur was kind enough to send me out some of their glow legarmers and jackets n bikini tops. Shout out to

Cali: I love candles, but however it goes down.

$plash: What do you look for in a man?
Cali: Smart, funny, sweet, I like quiet guys. I’ve never liked guys that hit on me. I see what I want n i go get it. I’m not one of those girls that likes assholes. I like good dudes. I’m pretty sure I found the perfect one.

$plash: Restaurants or Home Cooked Meals?
Cali: I love cooking at home wit my man. But i also love getting dressed up n going out to a nice restaurant. It’s all about who you’re with. There’s something really sexy about sitting across the table in public n not being able to get it poppin til u get home. The anticipation.

$plash: Whats Your Dream Date?
Cali: Spending the day at the beach, or just outside period. Maybe the whole night on the beach, too;)

$plash: How do You Like today’s Music Scene?
Cali: I think it’s getting better. People are started to do there thing. You dont have to be the old typical pop princess anymore, which is a beautiful for all the females. People like, Amy Whinehouse, n Chrissette Michelle, it’s finally more about just ‘doing you’.

$plash: Name your top 5 worst artist of all time?
Cali: I don’t think I can answer this one. I don’t have much hater in me.

$plash: How did you Like the Ohio Hip Hop Awards?
Cali: Had a great time. Last year i had opportunity to open up which was awesome. This year I was one of the last performers, and a lot of the crowd had performed and gotten their awards and left. I wish more of my peers had stuck around to see me and QP, Proph the Problem, and Gotta Hustle Ent perform. They missed out.

$plash: Whats next up for Cali Miles?
Cali: I’ll b releasing my album at the beginning of 2009. It’s gonna be crazy. People are gonna be surprised Anyone that thinks Cali Miles is a ‘model turned Singer’ is gonna eat their words.
